The
Department of Education invites you to play an important role in your
child's education. By completing the School Climate Survey, you are
giving your school, your school district, and the provincial
government information on your thoughts and feelings regarding your
child's school and school life.
Every
year, the school climate survey is provided online to all parents of
students in grade 2, grade 5 and grade 7 to Level III. Parents/guardians
should complete this survey for every child they have in grade 2, grade
5 and grade 7 to Level III since each child has different educational
experiences and what is true for one child may not be true for other(s),
especially if they are in different grades or schools.
The
parent/guardian survey, on average, should take approximately 5 - 10
minutes to complete. Responses are confidental and your name will not be
linked to your results. All reporting will be done on a school,
district, or provincial level. Individual responses will not be presented.
