Help Needed!
Hello Parents/Guardians,
Our Jungle themed Spring Fair is coming up on Saturday, May 11, 2013….less than 2 weeks away….and, unfortunately, the donations of stall prizes and raffle baskets are tracking behind previous years. As a result, our spring fair committee sounds a little like this http://jansjoyousjungle.com/ele.wav
Many of you will know that the Spring Fair is an annual event much anticipated by our students. And while it is an important fundraiser for MDE, its primary purpose has always been a fun time for the children. They've come to expect games and stalls like the Duck Pond, Spin and Win, and Sports Stall among others.
Prizes are desperately needed to make it a success. All prizes…small (50 cents), medium (75 cents), and large ($1.00) are in short supply and time is running out! We are also in need of items for the raffle baskets that the children so enjoy trying to win. In the past, these baskets have been themed such as Arts & Crafts, Movie Night, Family Game Night but really anything (that appeals to the kids and their families) goes. Your spring fair committee will gladly create the baskets from items you provide.

We have a wonderful and generous school community and, as always, we value your support especially because we know it really is a Jungle out there.
Also a reminder that used books/toys are not being accepted this year in order to accommodate more fun activities for the students!
