Deloitte Impact Day

The Macdonald Drive Elementary School community would like to extend a huge thank you to the many volunteers from Deloitte and Friends of the Botanical Gardens who spent Friday, October 2, working tirelessly to greatly improve our school groups. It was a wet and rainy day but approximately 50 volunteers arrived ready to face the elements. They weeded, pruned, and tackled our overgrown planter beds. They built new planters for each pod entrance. They built "Buddy Benches" for our school playgrounds. They have truly made and "impact" at MDE and for that we are grateful.
