Special Delivery at MDE!

Last year, Grade One students at Macdonald Drive participated in a classroom project that involved receiving postcards. Throughout the year postcards began arriving at the school from all over - even one from Mickey Mouse. It was very exciting for our grade one students to map where they were coming from. The school year ended and the project came to a close...or so we thought...

Yesterday morning a very special delivery arrived at Macdonald Drive for Matthew Squires, a student currently in Grade 2, who participated in the project last year. He received not only a postcard but a package from President Barack Obama!!! The school was buzzing with excitement as news of the package spread. We are very grateful to have had this package sent to Matthew and appreciate the time that was taken in sending it!
