The mission of the School Lunch Association is "to operate a non-stigmatizing program that provides hot, nutritious lunches to primary and elementary school children, regardless of their families' ability to pay."
We are now preparing and serving lunches in 21 schools. In 2013-14 the School Lunch Association served over 2,500 meals a day to local school children. In 2014-15 this number is now over 3,000 meals a day!
This year they need to raise over $350,000 in order to ensure the success of the School Lunch Program. Although they have a committed group of volunteers and business partners they also rely on community support.
